As promised in the post about Face Recognition Vending Machine, here is another post on some top notch vending machine technology.

Coca Cola Japan is already planning to adapt this touch screen technology to their estimated 980,000 machines across Japan, but there are no specific details regarding their roll-out strategy. What we do know is that these touch screen vending machines would be able to introduce new methods of interactive advertising. Combining this touch screen feature with the face recognition technology discussed in a previous article, it would be very interesting to see how marketers can creatively implement targeted advertising based on a consumer’s age and gender.
