Play a REAL Guitar on PS3 and Xbox

Remember the time when you were jamming on plastic instruments while playing Guitar Hero and Rock Band? Now all of those plastic instruments are probably stored away in your dusty garage or being used as a foot stool by the couch.

All of a sudden, these musical video game franchises that once achieved astonishing sales figures seem to be no longer such a great hit anymore. There are very few innovation with each new game release and consumers are tired of having to upgrade the plastic musical peripherals.

At last, Ubisoft announced their plan to launch Rocksmith – their latest addition to the musical game genre that allows REAL electric guitars to be plugged into Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC for interactive playing. Instead of having store away your plastic guitars in your garage, you can take out that dusty old guitar that you haven’t touched since high school and finally make some good use of it. For people like me who cannot play the guitar, this could actually be an incentive for me to finally pick up learning a new instrument.
